The Schwarzkopf Irish Hairdressing Business Awards are taking place this Monday, 24 October in the Mansion House, Dublin and three Northern Ireland Salons are representing Northern Ireland at the prestigious ceremony.
Paul Stafford Hairdressing have been shortlisted in 2 categories with 2 finalists places in each, the All-Ireland Salon Design of the Year for both the sleek and chic Lisburn Road flagship salon (pictured left) and the quirky, funky Stranmillis Road salon, and Ulster Trainee of the Year. Keith Kane Salon in Carryduff and Kevin Kahan's Bangor Salon are competing in the category of Ulster Salon of the Year.
We imagine the nerves will be sky high in Paul Stafford's Hair Salons this weekend as trainees Debbie Louise Woods and Conor McCulough are both up for the Award of Ulster Trainee of the Year. Both Debbie and Conor are extremely excited to have been nominated - and hope that they and the salon will be successful on the day. We hope so too guys- we were lucky enough to get Debbie to do hair on our most recent photo shoot for Proof Boutique and she was fabulous!
Among this year's judging panel are Schwarzkopf Global Business Ambassador Antony Whitaker, Henkel UK & Ireland President Liam Murphy and Sarah Manning, Editor of Creative Head Magazine. We think they will be as impressed with the Northern Ireland Hair Salons as we are!
