pixiwoogirls.jpgFashion and Beauty bloggers are fast becoming the new powerhouses of influence for everything from fashion trends to essential beauty buys. And while there are a slew of beauty bloggers posting tutorials on You Tube and on their blogs the Pixi Woo girls - have become an internet phenomenon with their You Tube channel and their own website Fashion Face TV.

The Pixi Woo girls - Samantha and Nicola Chapman (pictured left) flew into in Belfast to help launch the new Body Electrics range by Illamasqua in Debenhams, Castlecourt. The girls online tutorials show them taking their look from the basics of a bare face - to full make-up looks so keen viewers will know of the girls powers to transform their naked faces, with their pro skills to total glamour.

Illamasqua's new Body Electrics range is inspired by the power of kinetic energy, the art of movement and the fluidity of the body in motion, and the collection contains body oils and shimmers, bronzers, nail varnishes and a new colour in the very popular liquid metal.

illamasquapalette.jpg The brand itself is all about creating your alter ego and this new range literally has the tools to create an avatar look - if you so wish to dip into the realms of fantasy with your make-up look but the products can also be toned down with key products used more subtly to create your own personal look - it's all about having fun with make-up after all.

Belfast-based make-up artist Paula Fraser went along to the Illamsaqua counter at Debenhams to meet the Pixi Woo girls as Sugahfix.com's expert representative and had the very rare treat of having her own make up done by Nicola who created a smokey eye look using the new product range. "As a professional make-up artist I'm used to playing round with new products and seeing what results I can get with them and Illamasqua is one brand that my make-up kit is full of so it was a fantastic experience to find out lots of insider tips from the girls.

"The Pixi Woo girls are very passionate about what they do, which is all in the name of making every day regular people feel confident and good about themselves - which is exactly what I do with my clients from brides to high-fashion models - it's all about using make-up to boost that inner confidence.

illamasquabronzer.jpg"My favourite products in the range would be the Illumine Oils (£32) an oil in two colours (bronze or iridescent violet) with a light reflecting finish which makes your skin look luxurious and radiant, perfect for the summer months ahead. I also loved the new pastel coloured nail varnishes (£13), which are bang on trend at the moment. They are so chic and are available in mint, lemon, powder blue and lilac.

"One other stand out product in the range which I will be adding to my kit is the Liquid Metal 4 colour palette complete (£29.50) with the new shade, platinum. This rich metallic cream can be used on the eyes, face and body and adds a rich decadent shimmer for a very glamorous look."

The Body Electrics range by Illamasaqua is available at Debenhams, Castlecourt, Belfast.
