Fashion Fabulous Nail Art

As someone who has eternally chipped nail polish, the emergence of nail varnish foil stickers has greatly interested me- and filled me with hope that I might now be able to enjoy chip free nails for longer.

The foils are available in a huge range of colours and patterns- making nail art accessible to even the least artistic of us!

I am currently sporting a set of leopard skin nails which are a great way to liven up that little black dress. The application process was easy enough once I got the hang of it- the final three or four nails definitely look more professional that the first few.

My Sugah Tip is to cut each strip in half to get two nails out of each one. Applying will be slightly trickier but it's well worth it to get more for your money.

The finish of the foils is good- although for a while after applying, I was very aware that I had something on my nails- almost like when you apply false nails.

The beauty of nail foils is that there is no drying-time required, and that you can create striking patterns without being a nail artist!  They are also said to last for up to ten days which is ideal for busy gals-on-the-go.

I am fairly happy with the outcome but I think in this case practice definitely makes perfect- so I'm looking forward to the results next time I use nail foils.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips are available from chemists nationwide and Myleene Klass Nails foil strips can be found at www.jmldirect.com, Boots, Asda, Wilkinsons and Debenhams.
