Benefit's new Hervana blusher is arriving in the UK in February so I tried it out to see if it lives up to the hype surrounding everything Benefit produces!

I immediately fell in love with the packaging of Hervana, it comes in such a cute and colourful little box with a dinky mirror inside- it was enough in itself to make me adore the product!

Along with the blusher, you get a small, angled brush which I was apprehensive of initially as I'm used to using a round brush- but it's actually fantastic. It really allows me to create some definition around my cheek bones.

The blusher itself looks lovely in the box due to the pattern created by the four complimentary shades; lucky shell, divine peach, heavenly rose and berry delight. To blend, I swirled the thin benefit brush in the box and then applied to my cheeks.

I instantly liked this blusher. The pigment was a lot better than I'd been expecting, given the pale colours involved, and I didn't feel I necessarily needed to layer it as it was noticeable straight away. In natural light, I really appreciated how lovely this blusher looks on pale skin in particular as its pinky tones create a real wind-hit flushed look which I like. I have been tan-free since I began using Hervana but I'm not sure it would look so good on darker skin- the pale pink flush would look a lot less natural and might not show up over a tan.

Benefit describe Hervana as offering an 'enlightened flush' which is actually exactly what it does. It is pretty, girly and definitely one for pale and interesting Irish skin- perfect!

Hervana will be available from February at Benefit counters nationwide priced at £23.50.
