At Green Living we're thrilled to have discovered Mil All Natural Balms. Why? Well here are just a few reasons.
Mil íocshláinte is a local company, which handcrafts its products in the Glens of Antrim, so we're supporting local business each time we buy.
They've also just launched a new range of All Natural Essential Oil Blends as well as a new Organic Baby Oil, so the range of products keeps getting bigger.
Plus, the products are good value for money and really work.
Green Living has had the pleasure of trying some of the Mil Béalghrá lip balms (mil is the Gaelic word for honey and béalghrá translates as 'lip service') and we like the results.
The products are 100 per cent natural, so you'll not find any artificial colours, flavours, fragrances or preservatives in them, which immediately gets the Green Living thumbs up.
The balms (£3.35 each) offer great barrier protection - we've been using them every night before bed (part of our beautifying bedtime routine) as well as during the day (one of the cute tins is kept on the Green Living office desk, for ease of use at all times).
As well as featuring beeswax - their tag line is the charming 'from bee to you' - the balms come with natural ingredients including organic shea butter, vitamin E oil and sweet almond oil (in the Shea & Cocoa Butter balm) and olive and fruit oils, lavender and chamomile oil (in the Lavender & Chamomile balm).
Also in the Mil range are foot, body and hand balms, which you can buy online at www.milallnaturalbalms.com. The site also has a list of local shops which stock Mil, including Eat Well health food shop on Belfast's Lisburn Road and the city centre's Wickerman, on High Street.
We're thrilled by what Sinead and the Mil team are doing and we just love the idea of all these natural products being used to make handcrafted products in our very own Glens of Antrim.
