Green Living has been using organic/eco hair, body and beauty products for the past five years, and we have to say that the Love Peace and the Planet range from TIGI is the best hair care collection we’ve ever tried.

The problem with a lot of organic brands is that the conditioners tend not to be as nourishing as they should be, even though the shampoos are usually first rate.

Problem solved thanks to TIGI - the shampoos and conditioners have proved to be every bit as cleansing and rehydrating as those high street brands that are pumped full of nasty chemicals.

Love Peace and the Planet is 71% organic, and contains no parabens, artificial colours, synthetic fragrances or SLS, while the only animal by-product used is beeswax.

It also smells divine, thanks to a fusion of geranium, lavender, rosemary, jojoba oil and aloe vera.

We particularly love the moisturising shampoo and conditioner - as the name itself says, it’s Eco Awesome!

We’ve heard a rumour that TIGI may be discontinuing this line, which would be a real shame because now that we’ve discovered it we don’t want to use anything else.

So we’re stocking up - you can buy the products online from various retailers, but we’ve been getting ours from Sugahpal Paul Meekin’s Partners Hair & Beauty salon on Castlereagh Street, Belfast., which is an official TIGI flagship salon and academy.
