Hey Sugahgals!

An LA magazine had invited me over to cover red carpet events in the run up to the biggest event of the year, only the Oscars!! Knowing my husband would be revising all week in preparation for his exams I thought "no better time to go!".

Hollywood was buzzing all week with celebs everywhere from J-Lo in Drais nightclub while I was out with the girls (sorry I couldn't get a picture) Paris Hilton in the Grove, Milla Jovovich and many more.

It was the coldest week in LA for 49 years with snow and rain but being a Northern Ireland gal - a bit of a chill wasn't going to stop me from having fun!

I was invited to the British Consulate on the Tuesday night is Los Angeles where Dame Barbara Hay gave a welcome speech. I just wished I took camera just to show you the house. I wore a gunmetal dress by Umesh from Sarah Jane boutique in Magherafelt and my jewellery is from www.faceofmiglio.co.uk.
