It's the festive season - my favourite time of the year!

What else we're loving this month:

The Christmas count-down. It gives us an excuse to scoff a chocolate each morning as we open up another window on our advent calendars. The Partners team are all chocoholics!

Hot cider - we're drinking this instead of mulled wine this year. I heat cider, honey, cinnamon and cloves in a saucepan together with a splash of brandy and dish it up to friends and visitors. Yum!

OTT Christmas lights - I don't care what people say about those houses covered with lights and decorations. Some might say they're tacky but I love them - they help to brighten up the cold, dark winter nights and are a bit of fun.

Giving thanks - you don't have to be religious to give thanks for what you have this Christmas. It's a good way of taking stock of all the good things you have in your life, so count your blessings and tell your family and friends how much you love and appreciate them.
