We love Christmas, but we were little surprised to receive an invite to a Christmas party in August; intrigued, of course we went!
A beautiful summer evening, the sun was shining as we walked up the beautiful Eglantine Avenue, to The Knife and Fork Grill, located in Belfast’s luxurious and award-winning Malone Lodge Hotel, where we were greeted with a santa hat and a glass of festive processco, before entering a truly festive experience!
We seated ourselves before being treated to live Christmas music and a mouth wateringtasting menu and there wasn’t a turkey in sight!
Sourdough croutes Sticky beef, honey parsnip puree, red wine jus and parsnip crisps; Venison, rabbit and pheasant pie; Pan fried Sea bass, Lyonaisse potatoes, kale, rocket and almond pesto. Wild mushroom and truffle risotto

Sasha’s favorite: The Beetroot and Goats Cheese was mouth watering, followed by Sticky beef, which melted in your mouth and a sugah craving filled by the Hazelnut and chocolate delice; honestly I got the last one and it was amazing!
