MTV have announced the nominees for the 2011 MTV European Music Awards to be held in Belfast next month.

Kelis has joined the line-up for Arthur's Day celebrations in Belfast bringing her unique blend of upbeat dance ballads with a hip-hop edge to the Ulster Hall before heading to a secret gig in a local pubs.

The Sugahfix gals are huge Kelis fans with Acapella being one of our favourite dance tracks of 2010. We first spotted Kelis on Ol' Dirty Bastard's 'Got yo Money' in '99 and we loved it when she burst onto the scene, literally kicking and screaming with 'Caught out there' and 'Good Stuff' in 2000 bringing a whole new kind of kick-ass girl power to the charts.

Milkshake, Trick Me and Millionaire are also favourites with Richard X's 'Finest Dreams' being one of the few CD singles we spent our Sugah pennies on in 2003.  Kelis also features on the current Calvin Harris track 'Bounce'. Sooo...yeah! We're just a teeesy bit excited!!! EEP!

*Swoon Alert* If drooling over all the hotties X Factor and the Xtra Factor's Olly Murs through the telly every weekend just isn't good enough- prepare to squeal they are all coming to Belfast! Not only that - but The Wanted are making a trip over too - and all three concerts are taking place in the space of less than two weeks! EEP!

Derry teenager Damian McGinty is getting used to the fame and media attention that comes with securing a role in the iconic US music show Glee.

The Glee Project, on Sky 1,  still has three episodes to go here in the UK but the winners were revealed in the US as the series was aired earlier on the other side of the pond.

The countdown has begun and the diaries have been cleared - Saturday night (20th) marks the return of the X Factor and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The third annual Arthur's Day celebrations aren't far away and the studio line up for Belfast has been announced and tickets go on sale in the morning!
