Following its success last year, Belfast Music Week returns to the city for a second time from 30 October – 5 November in the run-up to the biggest musical event to hit our shores- the MTV European Music Awards on 6 November.

Whether you’re counting down the seconds until the star-studded ceremony takes place- or it’s just not your cup of tea- there will be something to entertain you at Music Week as fans of all tastes and ages can look forward to an eclectic line-up filled with special collaborations and never-to-be-repeated performances.

As our fair city prepares for the arrival of some of the world’s leading music stars for one of the biggest parties in the music industry calendar- more than 130 events will take place at venues across Belfast.

Highlights include an all-ages gig (14+) presented by Volume Control featuring Rainy Boy Sleep, Silhouette, Axis Of and Colly Strings, a benefit gig for the Alzheimer’s Society featuring Ash, Devine Comedy and The Undertones, and the Northern Ireland Music Awards.

As well as gigs every night at the Ulster Hall, other venues will include buses, the streets of Belfast, train stations, shopping centres, and restaurants.

There will also be a series of industry workshops with some of the best-known names in the business who will be sharing their knowledge and expertise to help support and develop Belfast’s creative sector on an international scale.

Tickets for some of the Ulster Hall gigs are now on-sale – check www.ulsterhall.co.uk for details.
