If you're a fan of the X Factor then you're in for a treat this Halloween as Belle Amie are headlining the seasonal celebrations in Derry on 31, October. The gals stepped-up to entertain the Derry crowds on Halloween night after Ex-Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and her band 'Her Majesty and the Wolves'- who were set to perform at the Banks of the Foyle Halloween Carnival- had to return to the US early.
The Belle Amie gals have just signed a record deal in America and are currently touring with Westlife. Following the release of their first single 'Girls Up' back in August, the girls have been working with high-profile song-writers and producers including Chad Dexter - the LA-based producer behind hits by 50 Cent, Fergie and Cassie.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Derry's Halloween Carnival and it is being celebrated with four days of family friendly activities, a spectacular Carnival parade and Fireworks Display. Starring alongside Belle Amie will be a Kings of Leon tribute band and local performer Paul Casey.
Taking place from Friday 28 – Monday 31 October, the Halloween programme has a spine-tingling array of events and activities to entertain every member of the family. For more information visit www.derrycity.gov.uk/halloween.
