The Handbags and Gladrags charity event for Coleraine fashionistas is back, and this time it promises to be better than ever.
Handbags and Gladrags is a chic 'pop-up' twist on a charity shop, where fashion-lovers can buy pre-loved, nearly new and vintage items of donated clothing in a luxurious temporary setting awash with indulgences including pampering treatments and delicious food and drink, with all profits going to charity.
Now in its fourth year, Handbags and Gladrags takes place at Coleraine's new not-for-profit lifestyle boutique, Hope and Gloria. Last year it raised over £4,500 for charity and was attended by more than 850 people.
If you are planning an early spring-clean, Handbags and Gladrags will gratefully receive donations of vintage, new and used clothing, shoes and accessories (suitable for men, women and children), to Hope and Gloria's 'Compassion Wear-house' at Hillman's Way or at CCV 27 Queen's Street, Coleraine (the old Dunnes stores building).
Handbags and Gladrags is a women-only event, but boys and girls under eight years old can attend for free.
