When we think of Lady Gaga - experimental and forward-thinking fashion spring to mind. When she graced the red carpet for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, 31st Jan, in a variety of typically Gaga outfits we were really quite pleasantly surprised to find out that it was king of understated chic - Giorgio Armani who had collaborated with Lady Gaga to create the special pieces.

Throughout the evening, Lady Gaga, winner of two Grammy Awards, dressed exclusively in Giorgio Armani Privé.

Giorgio Armani says, "We hear Lady Gaga's music everywhere we go. It is like a soundtrack of our times. In addition to her formidable songwriting skills, she is a modern fashion phenomenon."

Sharing Mr. Armani's enthusiasm, Lady Gaga adds, "I am honoured to be wearing Armani this evening. The series of pieces Mr. Armani created for me are truly iconic; they represent not only beautiful fashion, but my spirit and essence as an artist. Mr. Armani is a fashion legend, and tonight would not have been the same without his touch, and his wonderful team."

The speculation in Sugahfix HQ is that Lady Gaga is about to be come the face of a new Armani fragrance. Beyonce is the face of Armani diamonds and as much as she trys to keep up with Gaga - the lady is strides ahead in the fashion stakes.
