While most of us were watching the first live show of the new X Factor, finalists and invited guests were hitting the red carpet at The Merchant Hotel for the IN! Glamour Awards.

Holly Sweeney sizzled in an embellished silver figure-hugging gown – this girl has blossomed since her split with golfer Rory McIlroy! She literally turned heads recently at the Victoria Square Ladies Race Day at Down Royal oozing sexy style, and in her silver Giovanni gown from Cruise looked oh so old Hollywood Glamour – we love!

Our favourite look has to be former Miss NI Joanne Salley (pictured left). Joanne is shortlisted for the Most Glamorous Female Award and looked breathtakingly gorgeous in a stunning couture creation by hotly-tipped local fashion designer Ruedi Maguire.

Ruedi is one of the designers who will be retailing his unique designs at pop-up boutique Proof opening on Saturday 22nd October at 1b Jameson Street, Ormeau Road. Proof is the brainchild of award-winning milliner and accessories designer Grainne Maher who has cherry picked the best of up-and-coming fashion design talent in Northern Ireland and with Proof she is giving them a shop window so fashionistas can get their hands on these unique creations all in one perfectly formed little shop.
