Week 1 of the X Factor Live shows and all the Sugahfix Gals were tweeting and texting each other throughout the show discussing the finalists performances - and of course - all the style!
Poor Amelia Lilly was doomed to be ditched the minute she walked out onto the stage in pastel pink hair and a pillar box red Top Shop leather jacket. Clashily horrific in itself, the tango tan and pale lips made it hard to concentrate on her performance while the horror of her fashion fiasco stomped around the stage.
Style tip – don't mix pastel and primary colours – pastel tones are soft – primary are punchy and hard – they don't mix. Amelia looked awkward in her pre-show publicity photos with her new pink hair and shorter length – was it a Samson effect?
All hail Queen Misha! Not only did Misha B's first live show make us feel like we were watching a Brit Awards performance but her newspaper dress custom-made by Rock Boutique was simply incredible. We bet Kitty was furious that Misha got the knock out outfit of the night.
Rhythmix call themselves 'urban geeks' and while their styling is super-similar to Belle Amie from last year - these girls' individual personal style rings true with this look. They dress like girls their age )check out the style spotter gallery of the Derry fashionistas) in denim cut offs and Converse and their outfits came from River Island, American Apparel and Adidas.
 Sammi is this years plus size sensation. We hope the stylists don't do a Mary Byrne and dress Sammi in black every week but we have to say it's the best we've ever seen Sammi look. The sequin jacket from New Look added a punch of pizzazz for the stage performance and Sammi's make-up was sensational.
We won't have the totes amaze 2 Shoe's this week but we did love the black sequin dresses from Rare and skyscraper heels from Dorothy Perkins. The less said about the tan and the lipstick the better!
Sophie was one finalist I couldn't wait to see on the live shows – she has all the raw materials of a great figure and an incredible face but she always looked quite low key so her make-over was going to packed with wow factor! Sophie looked every inch the pop star in her body-con dress by Aqua and her sparkly wedges from Carvela were mesmerizing!
 We have to say that we didn't like her hair. Yes a fringe is a great tool to highlight amazing eyes but it was too long and looked as if it was blow-dried with a bit too much gel in it giving it a spiky edge. Trim that fringe, blunt it up or sweep it back off her face please!
Kitty. What can we say about Kitty? This Lady Gaga wanna-be is grinding on us already. Her amazing corset by The Blondes of New York was the most impressive thing about her but this girl needs a good conditioning treatment for her hair and maybe swap the botox for some facial peels to boost the luminosity of her skin. We kinda love to hate her. Let's see if she impresses in the weeks to come.
Last but certainly not least the absolutely divine Janet Devlin! It's terrible to biased but as our Sugah Mama would say "There's nothing like your own" and we love her doubly for flying the flag for Northern Ireland. Janet has such a cute little style all of her own and we were worried they'd try and sex her up but we absolutely loved her antique cream embellished dress and paired with white DMs to add her own little twist. We have to note that we think the colourist has gone a bit to Florence Welsh with the red – while we love the idea of Janet being a red head – some of the pre-publicity shots are a softer red tone which is much more fitting for our Irish colleen.
We can't wait for this weekend's show and we're totally rooting for Janet who has had a really tough week with her Granddad passing away – our thoughts are with her family and we hope Janet is spurred on to pour all the emotion into her performance.
