FASHION WEEK Opening Show |

 West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK returned for Autumn at The Baby Grand on Thursday 16th October.
Avoca opened the show with an array of quirky bohemian looks with beautiful velvet slips and colourful cardis worn with funky wellies and clogs.
Una Rodden stole the show (as usual!) with her sexy rock-chick styles and jaw-droppingly gorgeous dresses (one example pictured left). Sequined detail, beading and flowing chiffon illustrated why Una picked up the well deserved accolade of Designer of the Year at Saturday nights show.
Belfast boutiques such as newly opened Madison Rose, Atelier, Beverly Hills, Harper and Liberty Blue and Vintage havens such as Raspberry Beret and Oxfam Vintage thrilled the audience.
A first for the FASHIONWEEK catwalk came in the form of Newry boutique, Pillar Box Red proving that style is not only found in the city of Belfast!
Julie-Ann Graham’s Curious Tales label wowed with her stunning and unique tailored jackets – recycling has never been so chic! Mary Rose McGrath’s designs closed the show with lots froth and features – a girls dressing up dream.
