EK Eyewear are no stranger to featuring on fashion catwalks having debuted their Tom Ford collection at A/W 08 Belfast Fashion Week, adding A-list style to the super-feminine summer opening sequence for Spring into Summer 2009 and adding a designer edge to the rock chicks on the runway at this season's Fall for Fashion.
The Sugahfix Gals spoke to Eavan Kennedy about the covetable designer sunglasses instore at EK Eyewear as seen on the catwalk.
"For the opening sequence at Fall for Fashion 09 we showcased pieces from Chanel's 2010 sunglasses collection. The Chanel have different themes appearing on their frames one being Denim used for the sides/legs - this is very different to any designer brand to date, Lace - which comes in various colours /brown, plum, claret and black, of course.
The Chanel logos this year feature ribbons, romantic camellias, cultured pearls and fashion leather - they really are fabulous! Most of the Chanel are already here and the rest will available in November so the full collection will be here for Christmas!! Start dropping those hints now!
We also showed some pieces from the Tom Ford and Jimmy Choo 2010 collections. The overall look for sunglasses in still big with oval shapes still strong. Aviator styles are still very hot as more and more people take the plunge."
