Nuxe has created a perfume based on their best-selling multipurpose dry oil, Huile Prodigieuse- a cult favourite among French women and beauty buffs from far and wide.
Described as relaxed and exotic, Nuxe Prodigieux La Parfum promises to caress the skin with its ‘irresistible sun-kissed accords’. The fragranced concentrate promises to be faithful to the notes found in the Huile Prodigieuse oil-reminiscent of beaches, velvet flowers and warm summer breezes.
Top notes contain orange blossom, bergamot and tangerine. Floral heart notes include rose, gardenia and magnolia, whist the base consists of vanilla and coconut milk.
Described among other things as a ‘joyful opening of plush white orange blossom’ and as a ‘delightful solar bouquet’, the scent certainly has a lot to live up to.
Initially my senses were bombarded with a strong floral rush, so intense, I was confident a headache would ensue.
Blessedly the initial intensity subsided and the result was rather alluring. The dry down is substantially softer. Warm and rich, like the oils that greets you in a treatment room at the spa.
Fans of the Huile Prodigieuse oil, and Nuxe as a brand, will adore this scent.
Nuxe Prodigieux Le Parfum is priced at £43 for 50ml
