Northern Ireland fashion design talent Riona Treacy and designers from Unify Fashion Collective including Shauna Fay and Dave Henderson will showcase their stunning fashion collections on the catwalk at the prestigious Great Hall at Belfast City Hall. The event will raise funds as well as awarness of human trafficking happening right here in Northern Ireland.
GAA and Rugby players are also getting involved along with dancers from Vibe Academy, and musicians including the amazing talent from the highly-acclaimed singer/ songwriter, Rosie Carney.
Helen Cupples, from The A21 Campaign in Ireland and an organiser of Frocks for Freedom said “We have been deeply compelled to act and raise awareness about the sad prevalence of trafficking in this country. Most people don’t know about this problem in Northern Ireland; they think it is too small a country for this to be happening in, but it is occurring on a fast growing scale.“
