Last year Green Living raved about premium organic skincare brand, Spiezia Organics because the people behind it really do care about their consumers as much as they care about their business and products.
Back then, we tried its Floral Skin Toner and Facial Cleanser, which, like all its products, are hand made on a farm in Cornwall and contain no nasty chemicals or additives.
They also come with the Soil Association's seal of approval and an 'absolutely no synthetic chemicals' stamp on the packaging.
This year, since we're dealing with a double whammy of post-Christmas problems - dry skin caused by wind and rain and the results of over-indulgence - we've tried Spiezia's Extra Rich Hand Balm and Body Firming Oil.
Spiezia's philosophy is ‘Made for Life' which entails using only 100 per cent organically-sourced ingredients plus solar and lunar energy (rather than new-fangled machinery) to air-dry the herbs and flowers that are used in the products.
The nurturing Hand Balm (£13.70 for 50ml) is made from a highly concentrated formula of apricot kernel and jojoba oils.
There's no water in it, just ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil and sweet orange peel oil, so it's really rich and only needs to be used sparingly by massaging in a small dab every morning and night.
With its Body Firming Oil (£24.95), Spiezia has come up with a product that utilises natural skin-firming ingredients so women can take healthy, positive action to feel confident about their bodies.
The organic green tea and mint in the oil stimulate circulation, help to break down cellulite and eliminate toxins in the body.
All you have to do is massage the silky soft blend of organic sesame and jojoba oils into the skin morning and evening to help tone and firm it.
Like the rest of the product range, these goodies also come in recycled green glass bottles.
Spiezia is also currently changing the look of its packaging, so, instead of discarding or recycling their older purple jars, they're filling them with products and offering them at big discounts - so now is a great time to bag a bargain if you buy direct from the website.
You can buy Spiezia products in Harvey Nichols, Dundrum, or from www.spieziaorganics.com
