The launch of West Coast Cooler FASHION WEEK show schedule is always packed with invited guests eager to find out what the key trends are for the new fashion season. The launch event was hosted at Saphyre on the Lisburn Road and served up a luxury afternoon tea along with West Coast Cooler, of course, to keep the fashionistas refreshed.
Many of the key trends for SS14 were worn by attendees including spring pastels, floral prints, monochrome, and embellishment.
We loved award-winning milliner Grainne Maher’s floral print body-con dress styled up with a felt trilby from her new SS14 collection.
Hannah Emerson (pictured above) wore the perfect transitional outfit with a pop of cobalt blue floral print paired with a black top and cardigan and paired with accents of red. We adore quirky little style touches and Hannah’s lady bird broach had us cooing with cuteness! This sweet touch tamed another wise bombshell look! Va va voom!
Stephanie Berkeley and Eve Brannon both did a striped top with Stephanie pairing a boxy style top with wide stripes with a statement necklace and a black base, while Eve paired her striped tee with a white midi skirt.
We adored model and fashion blogger Aoife Malone’s ‘Coco made me do it’ slouchy sweatshirt and shorts. We can’t wait to see Aoife’s full collection at the Charity Challenge!
There was also a lot of cobalt blue – the signature colour for the Belfast Fashion Week campaign. Miss Northern Ireland Meagan Green was bang on trend in a blue dress and white blazer. Designer Julia Sokele also wore blue with a powder blue top, black trousers and a faux fur collar adding a cosy accent to her look.
