The Merchant Hotel’s iconic Fabulous Fashion Teas returned today to treat fashionistas to another season of style and decadence, serving up the hottest spring/summer fashion trends for 2017.
We stepped in to capture our first Style Spotter of the year and were blown away by the exceptionally stylish girls at this evenings debut of The Rosh Collection from the Lisburn Road, accessorised by APD Jewellery.
In what is set to be an inherently upbeat season, the gals and girls at todays Fabulous Fashion Teas were already embracing many of SS17 no-holds-barred interpretations on the 1980s; think jumbo frills, shoulders, bling and legs; there were lots of legs!
Bold colours a plenty, we didn’t see too many stripes, but the beautiful floral prints on show ensured the trusty pillar of the summer print lineup were back with more bite. Check out Louise Vance.
The spirit of the ’80s continued with many taking on a post minimalism influence; armed with subtle details to make even the simplest item seem like the most exciting thing you’ve ever seen. A special mention must go to the ever-chic Nuala Meenehan, who rocked this!
Fancy the idea of wearing whatever, whenever and however you imagine it in that moment? Then the radical mix ‘n’ match styling seen worn by the stylish gals at todays Fabulous Fashion Teas will give you the confidence to do so —this is a season where YOU make the rules.
Models from The Style Academy graced this year’s catwalk, showcasing this season’s hottest looks with an intimate round table show in the hotel’s stunning Rita Duffy Suite. Hair looks were created and styled by Andrew Mulvenna, with complementary on-trend make-up looks from Lancôme. Full rundown and showcase from The Rosh Collection accessorised by APD Jewellery coming tomorrow.
