Chloe Rose edition is the sister perfume of my favourite scent Chloe EDP, and as the name suggests, celebrates the queen of all flowers – the rose.
Maybe it’s because I’m getting older but I’m starting to not only accept but embrace the floral scent, on the provision it’s not too grandma meets maths teacher.
Fresh and incredibly feminine, the fragrance recreates a stroll along the wonderful rose gardens of Paris.
The composition focuses mostly on the heady bouquet of roses. It is further complemented by floral notes of magnolia and lily of the valley and enhanced by the background notes of amber and cedar wood.
This is slightly less complex, rich and sophisticated then the original. It maintains the unique charm of the original EDP but doesn’t have as much lasting power.
It is however still a beautiful scent and is sure to attract many an admirer. I was complimented by no less than 4 people the day I wore it.
For those of us who have watched American Beauty this is your chance to feel like Mena Suvari in the famous rose petal scene…at a lot less personal expense and mess!
