Victoria Square Race Day at Down Royal

The going was good in the style stakes at Victoria Square's Ladies Day at Down Royal on Friday 10th September.

Race goers at the Beef or Salmon suite (random fact - this is the name of a famous horse and not the main course options!!) were treated to a fashion show featuring retailers from Victoria Square while regular punters could still indulge in luxury treats at the Victoria Square Indulge Lounge including Rituals, Laura Mercier, Benefit, New York City Nails and the House of Fraser personal shoppers.

Fabulous hats and fascinators were the order of the day and our Sugahpal Grainne Maher's millinery creations adorned the heads of models, the media and the Belfast Rose. The Sugahfix gals heart Grainne's cute cocktail hats which are attached to a hairband - they're perfect option for the hat novice as you don't even feel like you're really wearing it!

The fashion was all about the dress with tanned legs and glamorous high-heels finishing the look. Hemlines went from mid-thigh to just-above, below, and just-to-the-knee. We say "if you've got it, flaunt it' but the ladylike trend for this season's just-to the-knee skirt length is a classy option for the races. Full-length dresses added a chic elegance to the race day look.
