The opening night of West Coast Cooler FASHION WEEK in the underground car park of Victoria Square was packed with excited fashionistas, dressed to impress - and we were!
We spotted lots of faux fur for huggable glamour worn with skinny jeans and killer heels and a chunky hand-held bag to balance out those proportions.
Print dresses and playsuits were a popular look worn with opaque tights, heels and clutch bags. A clutch is a great way to elongate and works really well if you're showing lots of leg - a great style trick.
Vintage-inspired floral print dresses were warmed-up for winter with tailored blazer and opaques - the soft feminine feel of the floral print toughened up with the structure lines of the blazer is always going to be a winner.
We also spotted lots of leopard print - dresses, coats and accessories - not all worn at once though! One piece of leopard print, per outfit, is plenty!
We picked up a great tip from on fashionista who nearly had a fashion crisis when she ripped her tights. If you've got a rip in your tights - make it into a motif! Fray it out with a cheese grater and add a few more strategically placed holes to add to the effect.
