The L'Oreal Colour Trophy regional finals are always ram-packed with edgy fashion looks - be that on the models or on the hairdressers themselves. You can always rely on an extra helping of the fashion factor when there are hairdressers involved: you an also always rely on them for some crazy hair and flamboyant outfits - and we do love them for it.

We spotted a lot of dramatic shoulders, lots of lace and slouchy boyfriend blazers.

We love this fashionistas look (pictured left).  The subtle neutral tones of her outfit teamed with vibrant blue shoes and the beads in her necklace just picking out that cobalt blue pulls the whole look together. Wearing a pop of colour with neutrals is great way to add a bit of 'life' to your look - particularly if you're wearing grey as it can be draining.

Peep toe ankle boots with high ankle detail were the most favoured footwear. Jersey striped dresses were a popular choice - showing off curvaceous figures and toned tums. Dresses with lots of leg on show was a key look but there was also a second trend for black skinny jeans or leggings which added a sleek silhouette.

Congrats to all the finalists - click here to find out who won what.

There was so much style that we had to run the Style Spotter coverage across two pages - click here to view page 2.
