To celebrate Mother's Day weekend, M&S in association with The Merchant Hotel hosted a glamorous afternoon with The Merchant's signature champagne afternoon tea and a fashion show by M&S in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Guests were treated to a sneak preview of some of the key fashion looks of the season from the latest M&S collections including Limited, Autograph, Portfolio, Indigo and per una.
Dressed-up denim, lace, fringing and nautical stripes were all spotted on the day.
A cool colour palette dove grey and smokey lilac tones were spotted as a key colour choice. We particularly love Sugahfix's own Trends Editor Andrea McVeigh's underwear-as-outwear dress, trimmed with pretty lace in an uber flattering silvery lilac colourway. Cool toned gals take note - this is the perfect option if you've been trying that blush/nude trend and can't quite get it work. It's still chilly so team with opaques and pretty pumps.
Fashionista Sarah Owens wore a fabulous cream dress with laser cut detail, toughened up with a tailored jacket and cinched in at the waist with a decorative belt.
Styling your summer dresses with black opaques and a black tailored jacket is the perfect trans-seasonal option to get wearing those new season purchases right away.
