 Last month popular style bar Mint Cafe Bar Cookstown celebrated its first birthday.
Current Miss Great Britain Gemma Garrett hosted celebrations over a whole weekend of entertainment. Hollywood searchlights lit up the sky and amazing fire dancers performed for customers on the red carpet.
Gemma was joined by other well known celebrities, including model Katie Larmour and her co-presenter Alana Kerr from UTV's Live at the Limelight, all partied with customers to the small hours.
Also taking to the dance floor in the VIP area were Ant and Dick, celebrity wedding planners and favourite agony uncles on Wedding TV.
Every week, local party going gals at the Mint certainly make a big effort in the style stakes , the glam quotient is always through the roof, much to the excitement of local lads!! These gals are on the money for curent trends with one-shoulder dresses, colour blocking, embellishment and accessorised to perfect right down to their tippy toes.
We loved the bold coloured tights, fabulous bright coloured eye make-up (these gals are way ahead with the trends!) and our particular fave was one stylista with her glam-boho braids and flutter sleeved dress -gorgeous!
The £5 million, 3 storey venue has a capacity for 900 revellers and offers entertainment throughout the week as well as great food.
Mint Cookstown is over 18s on Fridays and over 21s on Saturday, there are many great hotels and bed and breakfasts close by - so our Sugah Tip is to stay over and party at the Mint!
