Director of Belfast Fashion Week Cathy Martin tied the knot with local business man Julian Jordan after an 11 month engagement in the glorious sunshine on Friday 29th May. The fashionable pair had a civil ceremony on Wednesday 27th May where the bride wore a dress by a local designer Una Rodden, with the main event with one hundred and fifty guests, attended a private blessing at Clandeboye Estate, the home of Lady Dufferin.
The couple and their guests, who include Gerry & Debby Armstrong, Alison Campbell, Orlaith McAllister and former Miss UK Gayle Williamson as well as former Miss Northern Irelands Fiona Hurley and Joanne Salley, who has flown in from a six month trip to Asia for the event, moved on to a reception at their home in Helen's Bay.
The bride wore a full-length gown by British Designer Alan Hannah from Blush Bridal Boutique on Belfast's Lisburn Road with a specially commissioned necklace by local jewellery designer Catherine B.
The style on show was all about the short and the shoe! Legs were on display and it was all about St Tropez! (the tan - and also where Julian popped the question last year!). Shoes were uber glam and super high. Bold block colour, surface texture detailing and animal print also made a statement.
There was some amazing head wear on show with feathers and fascinators adorning coiffed hair. But the essential fashion accessory was a pair of designer shades and a digital camera coming in at a close second as a wrist accessory to capture every moment.
