Tennent's ViTal at Ward Park in Bangor kicked off two days of music festivities with a line up including Ellie Goulding and The Script.
The style was all about denim cut-off shorts! From faded to indigo they were the absolute essential item to be seen wearing. We spotted three gals wearing Topshop's American Flag shorts and loved how each of them had such a totally different and individual look.
Footwear came in all shapes and sizes from flimsy flip-flops to high-top trainers, to brogues to chunky boots. Quite a few wellies were worn but on day 1 the weather gods were enjoying the line up and it stayed dry.
Sunglasses were an essential and we also spotted some woven trilby hats.
A check shirt, worn open, over a t-shirt was a popular look – and a clever bit of layering. Stripey tops with coloured jeans added a slice of colour-blocking cool.
Flirty floral skirts and dresses were toughed up with denim waistcoats or jackets
We spotted some super-cute autumnal toned dresses – claret lace long-sleeved dress and a mustard shirt dress – perfect AW items that be worn right now.
