The inaugural Polo In The City charity event support of Mencap, at Lower Botanic in Belfast, was a supremely stylish affair. Thoroughbred style came in a chic mix of glamorous daytime dresses with more relaxed looks featuring tailored blazers.
Equestrian-themed accessories added to the sense of occasion, with a horse-head detail necklace, bit and bridle detail on bags and Pluck & Devour's award winning Pegasus pendants were spotted looking hot to trot.
Ladies were not to be outdone by the fine fillies on the pitch – showing off their fabulous legs and slender ankles in dresses above, to and just below the knee.
Floral, and butterfly prints added floaty feminine softness while jewel brights in sapphire blue, emerald green and bright block colours in yellow, coral and rust made a style statement.
Wedges were essential for watching the high drama Polo matches and for the divot stomping at half time. We spotted some incredible super-high heels with spiked detail, and lace appliqué. While these might not have been practical for trotting on the grass - they graced the elegant marquees with class.
