The second annual Uber Chic ‘Look Good Feel Better' Charity show was a riotous affair with a mix of fashion and fun featuring ‘real models' including the infamous hostess Lady Portia Di Mont who entertained and enthralled the packed audience at the Ramada Hotel, Shaw's Bridge.
Our very own Trends Editor Andrea McVeigh (pictured left in Oxfam Vintage) strutted her stuff on the catwalk and was, as ever, the ‘modeliest of the non-models' in SATC speak.
The fashionistas in attendance were working a few of the big trends including long-line t-shirts (one ‘uber' cool version with Michael Jackson print was our fave), bold prints, leather and cobalt blue.
Headbands were spotted on many a fashionable head worn around the head as well as traditional style. A royal blue dress with white fan print caught our eye, dressed down with leather loafers and a slouchy mac for a cool, relaxed style.
Take a tip from the monochrome queens and add a colour pop with a bold coloured shoe or a dramatic red lip to add instant wow factor.
Leather biker-style jackets were spotted throughout the crowd with Miss UK Gemma Garret's black jacket with studding detail adding a edgy feel to a glitzy sequin top. Our fave has to be the super-cute Emma Deighan's leather jacket worn over a black base - the buttercream colourway looked made us want to take a bite - a fab way to soften up an otherwise tough biker-chick style.
