Momiji have teamed up with UK charity; Knickers 4 Africa, to help people living in poverty. Momiji hope to bring the world together using social networking site, Twitter, to donate as many pairs of pants as they can as well as giving 10 lucky followers a little treat for themselves.
It's not easy to discuss knickers without sounding silly, but imagine having to live without them?! For many people in the developing world such basic items are a luxury. Knickers 4 Africa is a charity who focuses solely on donating underwear to people in Africa. The Twitter fundraising campaign, playfully dubbed the ‘Momiji Pants Party', will allow people across the world to help. Momiji have promised to donate a pair of pants to the charity for every 2 messages posted into Twitter and are entering every single message into a prize draw. 10 lucky Momiji followers who tweet this message will win a Momiji goodie pack. Twitter users simply need to copy and paste the following message into their Twitter feed; has just thrown Pants at you! (and donated some to Africa) #MomijiPantsParty http://ow.ly/1MrAx This unusual approach to fundraising is designed to spread awareness about the charity and its work, whilst making a very real difference to people's lives. Twitter feeds across the world will soon be full of people throwing pants at each other in the name of charity. Will you be joining the Momiji Pants Party?
