Annahilt teenager Daniella Sophia Adams, 17, has been chosen as The Fresh Face of Clarins 2010.

The stunning young A level student, who is half Columbian and a drama and dance devotee, was selected from the French skincare brand's shortlist of 12 fresh faces of the future on the catwalk at The Wedding Journal Show in the King's Hall, Belfast.

The judging panel, which included Claude Defresne, Clarins International make up Designer, Maureen Martin model agent, Katrina Doran Editor of Sugahfix.com and Cormaic Rogan, Brand Manager for Parfums Thierry Mugler, felt that Daniella summed up the dynamism and spirit of the brand's new Daily Energiser youth skincare range which launched in Northern Ireland earlier this year.

Sugahfix.com Editor Katrina Doran said "As soon as Daniella walked into the room there was something about her that really made us all sit up and take notice. All the girls were really pretty and any of them could have taken the title but Daniella's personality really made her stand out.  She was the second finalist to be interviewed and sometimes that can be a curse if you're in early but we certainly didn't forget her. Without a scrap of make-up on and fabulous skin Daniella spoke really clearly about her love for drama and shared some fantastic beauty secrets. Personally I was struck by the more she spoke the prettier she got - sounds a little strange I know but as much as I thought she had the look when she walked in - when she walked I though "I love this girl!"
