Ponchos and sombreros at the ready! Forget the Mexican Wave - that's so 1986 - it's now all about the Mexican Standoff Flashmob!
Do your best Ugly Betty poncho look and head to Belfast City Hall for a ‘Mexican Standoff Flashmob' at 1pm this Saturday 4th December. The Flashmob is to raise awareness of climate change and hopefully grab the attention of global leaders meetin in the UN Climate talks in Cancun, Mexico. There will be a prize for the best costume so get creative!
The Mexican Standoff Flashmob will be followed by a free gig by Team Fresh and Pocket Billiards at the Oh Yeah centre.
Other actions on the day include an ecumenical service in St George's Parish Church on High Street, a piñata workshop and will finish up in the afternoon with a free concert with Team Fresh and Pocket Billiards at the Oh Yeah Centre on Gordon Street starting at 2pm.
