Model Maryann Ahmed got a big thumbs up from gorgeous Sharon Corr at the second night of the Magners Light Spring into Summer event. Maryann, who won a model search competition, hails from Sharon's own home town of Dundalk - something which seemed to amuse the stunning violinist. "She's beautiful, a real find," she said, "Are you sure she's from Dundalk?" as she watched the young model sashay down the catwalk at St George's Market. Sharon also joined Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody as the latest celebrity to come out in favour of local singer/songwriter Joe Echo. After listening to his melodic performance at the fashion show, Sharon said: "What an amazing voice. He's incredible."
