Co Down model Jamie Dornan has been voted one of Ireland's sexiest men, according to a new survey in Irish magazine Social and Personal.

The model/actor/singer, who used to date Hollywood actress Keira Knightley, beat the likes of Hollywood heavyweights Colin Farrell and Pierce Brosnan to take fifth place in the Remus Uomo poll of Ireland's top 100 Sexiest Men.

Top spot was clinched by RTE presenter Baz Ashmawy, who hosts the show Baz's Culture Clash (We've never heard of him either!). In second place in the survey is Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Myers, star of the television drama The Tudors and in third, Niall Breslin, lead singer of Irish band The Blizzards. RTE star Dave Fanning claims the fifth place in the poll.

Dublin-born actor Colin Farrell, star of such movies as Pride and Glory, Miami Vice, Alexander, Minority Report and Phone Booth, comes in at number six, just ahead of Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary. In eight place is male model Brooke Gilbert, followed by another well-known actor, Pierce Brosnan. Garrett Tubridy, brother of presenter Ryan Tubridy, rounds up the top 10.

Just missing out on a position in the top 10 is Northern Ireland goal scoring hero, David Healy, who emerges as the 14th Sexiest Man in Ireland. Other contenders from Northern Ireland include Citybeat presenters Mark Lima and Robin Elliott, Cool FM's Pete Snodden, Mirror showbiz reporter Paul Martin and celebrity chef Paul Rankin.

Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody also squeezes in at number 97.

But we here at Sugahfix think a great injustice has been done to the men of Northern Ireland and we feel a few more should have got a mention in the list.

So our votes go to Hollyoaks stars Gerard McCarthy and Glen Wallace, Ash's small but cute frontman Tim Wheeler, music promoter Dino Cafolla of CDC Leisure, Newry Town footballer Chris Morgan, the Quinn brothers, Jonny and Brad, John Rossi of local band The Vals, and DJ and style king Stevie Simpson.
