They promised us a celebrity filled "excess all areas" party and that's exactly what Northern Ireland is going to get next month. The organizers of the FATE Awards ‘09 in association with Carling have today announced some of the celebrity names, which will be jetting into Belfast on the 3rdApril.
Fresh from her appearance on "Comic Relief Does The Apprentice", acid tongued comedienne Ruby Wax will be back once more to oversee the proceedings and can't wait to get back to Belfast; "I had a blast at the awards last year, the audience were fantastic - a real riot, so I jumped at the chance to come back and do it all again".
A host of stars from the world of stage, screen, sport, music and fashion will walk down the red carpet at Belfast's Waterfront Hall to celebrate the achievements of the province's bar, restaurant and club scene.

The awards will finish with an exclusive set from hot new girl band The Saturday's who will perform a selection of their hits including their Top 10 Comic Relief single, ‘I Just Can't Get Enough', before guests move on to the after-show party with a DJ set by Jeremy Healy, who mixes live sets for the catwalk shows of Christian Dior and John Galliano at Paris Fashion Week.
