Rock groupie Peaches Geldof was spotted at the Students Union at Queens on Sunday night, supporting her latest boyfriend's band, The Virgins.

The daughter of Sir Bob rocked up at the Speakeasy to cheer on Virgins' frontman Donald Cumming.

Her surprise appearance at the gig confirms weeks of speculation of a romance between the pair.

Peaches broke up with her musician husband Max Drummey just six months after getting hitched. In a statement at the time, she said the decision to file for divorce was mutual and that no-one else was involved.

The Virgins hail from New York and though relatively unknown, their music featured in an entire episode of Gossip Girl.

Their single Rich Girl was named number 68 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2008. Wonder was it penned for Peaches!
