The gorgeous Helen McAleer, who judges most felt captured the essence of the Blush brand, was the lucky lady to take the title last year. Speaking about her win she said, "I still can't believe it, I had such a special year, not only did I fulfill my dreams by becoming Mick's wife, but becoming the Face of Blush was such a special and exciting experience. The whole thing was wonderful - from meeting all the other blushing brides at the final, to winning the competition and feeling like a princess. The photo-shoot (pictured left) and advertising campaigns were amazing; getting to see myself in the glossy magazines was something I had never imagined. Blush made all my dreams come true, I can't thank Aileen and the team enough. I still pinch myself when I see the ad campaign on the store window. "

The prestigious competition offers prizes including a designer bridal gown and a mother-of-the-bride outfit from Blush Boutique, professional hair styling from top stylist Ruairi Curran at Blue Hairdressing and make up by the wonderful Caoimhe Curran. New additions to the prize list this coming year include teeth whitening and one facial aesthetic procedure by expert Martina Collins for either the mother of bride or the bride herself as well as the use of luxurious wedding cars for the winner on her big day. The icing on the prize cake - for most – is the professional shoot with photographer Khara Pringle!
