Anthony Miller from Celebrity Wedding Planners Ant & Dick brings Sugahfix readers another installment of their Top Tips.
Tips before the wedding:
1. Book the venue well in advance.
2. Do not buy the first dress that looks nice on you and don't go dress shopping too early!! The chances are temperature changes, weight loss or gain and theme may vary a few times before the final decisions are made.
3. If you have a regular hairdresser try to ensure they do your hair for the big day as the trust will be greater, they know your style and hair etc.
4. Do not get caught up in ettiquette etc. This is your day, you decide the orders!!
5. Don't be pressured into having people as guests that you don't want, be polite but firm!!
6. If arriving in a classic car or by horse and carriage ensure plenty of time is allocated for mishaps it is better to circle the block a few times rather than miss your ceremony... time slots are often very tight!! 7. DELEGATE!!! the pressure of planning a wedding is immense!! ensure you have a team of trustworthy people at the helm!!
8. Plan stag and hen nights for about a month before the big day!! Practical jokes or accidents do happen!!!
9. Never accept the first price offered for goods or services, they expect you to haggle so bag yourself a bargain!!
10. If planning an outdoor wedding have a contigency plan for weather changes!
