For the more mature bride who is completely put off by the idea of a hen party- we have found the perfect antidote. The Queen is a female feline and us Sugahgals know that cats are the most elegant of the animal kingdom. This party will send you gracefully into married life- and will ensure you and your gals have a day you won’t forget.
Activities
If you decide to have the party at home, it essential you have a “butler” to serve food and drinks- it’s the least any Queen should expect.
If you fancy a day out that’s fit for royalty- try the Merchant or the Culloden for afternoon tea or a day of pampering and luxurious spa treatments.
If you want a bit of a laugh- embrace the interests of Queen Elizabeth and try your hand at clay pigeon shooting at the Foymore Lodge, Portadown or horse-riding at Lessans Riding Stables, Saintfield for a more energetic experience.
A day at the races would also be a great way to spend the day with your girlfriends; afterall it is the sport of kings – and queens!
Food
Any party fit for a Queen has to include a three-course formal dinner- preferably in a private dining room as we all know it’s not protocol for the Queen to be seen eating!
The Galgorm, The Fitzwilliam, Rayanne House, Malmasion and the Merchant will all provide this luxury service and will set the perfect backdrop to an evening that would be enjoyed by any Queen.
Drink
It has to be breakfast tea at lunch, and then champagne all the way until the party is over- the only drinks suitable for a Queen!
Dress Code
Keep it classy as every Queen should- but anything goes from a trouser suit to a full length gown so just make sure whatever you wear makes you feel like Royalty! Try The White Bicycle, Bloomfield Road and Bangor, for just the outfit.
