We kick off our stylish bridal features with the stunning wedding on New Years Day of Claire Jordan and Jason Patton.

Claire takes us through the fashion highlights of her big day.

The Dress! "I visited a few bridal shops before finding 'the one' in Deborah Rose Bridal in Ballygowan. I wanted the whole wedding theme to have that 'Old Hollywood Glamour' feel that would be timeless when looking back at photos in years to come. Of course this all started with the dress, once I described this to Deborah it was the first dress she picked out for me and even said 'I have the one'...she was right, the San Patrick Design was exactly what I wanted, lace, fitted, sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves, detailing under the bust line, and just glamorous!!!

To complete the look Catherine B Designs customised one of her designs for my headband which was striking and sat beautifully in my hairstyle by Claire Afshar at Vintage Rocks.

clairejordan-kBridesmaids. Following on from picking my dress which I found easy and within a few weeks of getting engaged came the task of the bridesmaid dresses! Originally I wanted the girls in ivory also with black sashes but it just didn't work and so I searched high and low across Northern Ireland to find the dresses that wouldn't look too bridesmaidy or cheap.

I fell in love (ironically) with the Love Collection by Enzoani and found that Marie Me, Randalstown were stockists. I can not speak highly enough of Eilish and Fiona, customer service was excellent! The bridesmaid dresses complimented mine down to a tea and the classic silver with black lace detail contributed to the whole Hollywood Glamour look! To finish the girls look, Grainne Maher made dramatic lace headpieces in black and silver.

clairejordanz-bMother of the Bride outfit search proved just as hard as the bridesmaid dresses as my mum didn't see anything she liked or felt comfortable in! So we went to the fabulous Una Rodden to get a one-off made! My mum had a fair idea of what she wanted but Una advised us on fabric and style detailing with beautiful leather belt, ruffle sleeves and fur wrap which make it an 'Una Rodden' dress, not to mention the quality and workmanship. The Mother of the Bride outfit is not complete without the stunning hat by Grainne Maher Millinery, and the design came from a mix of different hats that Grainne had previously made which we loved so she suggested incorporating them. Again the hat is unique and a exquisite indication of high standard of work. Both Una and Grainne were fantastic to work with.

Mother of the Groom outfit was also was a beautiful design from Oni Onik which complimented the whole colour scheme, purchased from Blush Bridal, Lisburn Road.

On the day, Mark Boyd from ReMARKable Flowers transformed both Bloomfield Presbyterian Church and the Stuart Suite Culloden Hotel to a magical setting which continued the amazing attention to detail as well complete the look, including fairy light curtains, led lit dance floor, stunning centrepieces and beautiful flowers and bouquets."
